Some Important Camping Caravan Buying tips
Things to Consider While Buying a Camping Caravan :
Just bought our 1st caravan 😁 Ace Tycoon 1984 (so we were told) any advice on the following would be good please:
1) Looking to buy awning but how do I know what size to get?
2) Caravan steps needed
3) Also, need to re-seal it whats the best (but not too expensive) sealant to use?
4) Need to remove old sealant whats best to remove this as it's been painted on and kinda gone over the bodywork.
5) Also, can you wallpaper or paint walls inside, units etc.
6) Looking to buy a fridge as this one is broke.
Thank you
Here are some suggestions for you to consider :
Lucy Underhill To find what size awning you need, Aldi are selling caravan steps atm, only ever use Silkaflex to seal a caravan which can be bought from any caravan shop.
April PinkApril Thanks Lucy
Lucy Underhill No problem 😊
Lucy Underhill Just saw you've edited it now lol. Use a blade carefully to remove old sealant, I used a wallpaper scraper to get old sealant off the awning rails. Also, I wallpapered our first caravan and then painted it, hindsight now I should have used a kitchen or bathroom paint. Depending on where your fridge currently sits you could put a normal household under counter fridge in there. This is only if yours is sitting in front of a wheel arch.

What does the Camping people use for Blending ?
So full-time camper-dwellers (or whatever you wanna call it), what blenders do y’all use? Mine just broke. I mostly used mine to make soups and smoothies from the frozen fruit so I’m not sure that a hand blender is a good option.
I know they are pricey and heavy but I love my Vitamix. For a lighter weight option, I hear the Ninjas are really good.
Vince Stone Magic Bullet. Very small and versatile.
Sherry Smith Baxley Just get 1 of those small blenders with a single holder.
Danette Jeanne VanDusseldorp Ninja professionals. Not just ninja... There is a cheap one with a motor that sits on top... It is crap.but the big professionals one is amazing.
Anna Walker Nutribullet
Verna Medlin Vita Mix. It cooks soups and makes ice cream too!
Darrell Denton Nutra bullet
Shannon McMurry Lynch If I had to do it again I'd go for the Vitamax.
Hannah Renee Everhart-Cain We have a ninja pro
Tracy Ann Mejias Yep ninja
Cheryl Nelson Ninja
Xiomara Rivera Ninja...
Mike Amber Deane Vitamix Big Train
Maureen Suzanne Kidd DeMarcosMaureen Vitamix. Mine is about 5 years old, works just like the day I bought it no problems.
Donna Morris Hollis Ninja pro
Tammi Musick Nutra Bullet. Perfect size and doesn't take up much space.
Cherí Meeks Vitamix for life. I've had one for 8 years and it is the best! Be careful with the Nutribullet!! I'd never use one after seeing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GQ7TT6LC_M
NutriBullet owners claim devices 'burst;' caused severe burns and cuts
Jaxon Davis Vitamix
Cyndi de Hoog Vitamix, Baby, all the way!
Leonda Cragwick Ninja IQ
Maryanne Stevens-Conover Definitely Ninja Professional!
Lori Morgan We have a Blend-tec. Also an older Vitamix. Both have lots of power but Vitamix has largely raised ledges in a container that makes it more difficult to clean and remove blended food. Vitamix is also taller if counter height is an issue
